Katy hosted a charity event at the Anderton arms ,cutting 21 inches of a very brave ladies hair .
She then donated the hair to charity where they make it into wigs for children with cancer.

Margo attended pro live hair show In manchester.
This event is to inspire stylist with the latest looks and new tools. Ask her what she saw.

Natasha attended a tigi course in Manchester where she learnt new techniques !,,

Little white books wedding fair @ beeston manor

Katy and i were styling the beautiful( and have to say a real pleasure always !!!) Models from brides gallery Bradley boutique chorley .

Owner of bridal gallery Alison passed me a what in appearance looks like a wire necklace for hair.
I used one a bride the other year and have seen adverts with them in recently . There a pretty item and so versatile .

From this item being given to me i was inspired to !then based our show cases on waves and twists. Keeping the looks low , simple over all yet geekeeeee creative .

The venue was Beeston manor . Situated in hoghton .
What a stunning place for weddings .
Even though I have had have this year many brides marry here I've never actually been .
The finish to the place is to perfection .

BRITISH HEART FOUNDATION RED HEART BALL

Lee and I attended the red heart ball @ the Marriott Preston .

Our friend Amy smeaton created the event .
This is a very close to Amy's heart ! and what a fabulous job she made of the night .


Was so exciting to get the opportunity to dress up ( black tie ).

I did have an eBay nightmare yet was saved by a lovely school friend ,offering me one of her dresses .
I felt like pretty woman in a red dress lol! .

We sat at a table with the spokes person for the british heart foundation
our good friend RT productions who worked hard that night
photos galore were taken per & post drinks !!!!!
And also the owners of body rock north west .

I came away with a new contact dawn from creative cover hire .
Out paths have crossed for years yet we've never met properly I've a lot to learn from her !

BROCKHOLES WEDDING FAIR LANCASHIRE

I had 5 models 2 brunettes 2 blondes and a ickle blondes princess the owner of the bridal shop
( charlottes) daughter . She was a real cute.

I show cased the classic top bun, soft low chignon with gentle curls, short graduated bob ,and a sculpted up do with hight and tapered neck shape.

We were lucky we got such a great turnout as the weather can often be off putting .

BROCKHOLES is such a beautiful place for a wedding ,the setting is Absolutely beautiful .

My wonderful PR queen Donna came along with me ,informing all the future bride and grooms of our fabulous salon services .

My eldest daughter came along with us .
She was up dressed by 8-30 with a note pad really to promote (lol) .
I love her confidence .
She was asked if she would like to put on one of the bridesmaid dresses and model on the catwalk .
I was shocked when she said yes and ooober!!! Impressed she walked down it holding another models hand .
She looked so scared yet cute with it .....time to mold some of that confidence now .

I caught up with a work colleague Paul Morris was lovely to discuss salon stuff.

Barton grange Preston boudoir photo-shoot.

Myself and lorna roberts have been playing again.

Working in the wedding industry we've found that we're starting to get more requests from brides who want to have photoshoots as wedding gifts for their husbands. They have a boudoir shoot, and then present their husbands with an album or a framed image on the day of the wedding. Also, with Valentine's Day upon us, we decided to offer a shoot that helps women celebrate who they are…any size, any shape. It's about creating beautiful imagery with women who want to embrace their feminity. Tastefully shot it means amazing imagery either as a gift for their partner, or just for themselves to celebrate a milestone in their life.…..personal, sensual boudoir photography.

January brought The start of wedding season !

We've had new faces in the salon ,and wedding booking s for up to June .
There's a strong vintage theme for wedding of 2013 .So this being my SPECIALITY VINTAGE HAIR I'm loving it .

FEBRUARY brings VALENTINES balls .... HAIR UPS. & GLAMOUR.
I'm attending the BRITISH HEART FOUNDATION ball this month ,hosted by my very dear friend Amy smeaton .
I'm looking forward to be styling many of the guests attending this event .

This Tuesday TIGI are in our salon for a training in colour day .
I love these days. Getting the chance to experiment with there new collections and pushing the products uses .

Our clients through January have really been adventurous .Wanting revamped hair styles and new colour requests .
January is always quieter in the salon so this is a great time for us to play .

We started the new year with a new team .
And what a wonderful way to promote them by photos .......

This are proofing very popular .
Taken in hotel rooms or clients home ,that are very tasteful yet incredibly sexy
Perfect VALENTINE gift .

I was asked by EDWARD HEMMING from Alan d hair design To be the MUA for his models for the FELLOWSHIP stage at PRO LIVE in Manchester again .
Oh the battle as a mother and business woman .
My daughter has her cheer comp the same day and of course that comes first ,so I can't attend pro live . Gutted!

My husband and I are with team are going to the show on the Monday to be inspired by all the amazing show stands and demos .
